Job Summary

First Student Canada is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Parts Inventory Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of parts and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Parts Receipt and Storage: Receive and verify the accuracy of incoming parts shipments, and ensure they are properly labeled and stored in the warehouse.
  • Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accurate stock levels, and implement procedures to prevent stock discrepancies.
  • Parts Issuance: Process parts requests from maintenance teams, and ensure timely delivery of parts to meet operational needs.
  • Supply Chain Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to resolve any issues related to parts delivery, and negotiate pricing and delivery terms.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate reports on inventory levels, parts usage, and supply chain performance, and provide insights to management to optimize operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of experience in a warehouse or inventory management role preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
