Biological Sample Preparer for Research and Development

We have a unique opportunity for a skilled Histology Technician to join our team in Laval. In this role, you will play a crucial part in preparing tissues for microscopic analysis, ensuring the smooth running of our research and the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.
The primary responsibilities of this position include:
- Performing histology activities, such as trimming, decalcification, processing, embedding, cutting, scanning, and staining;
- Preparing necessary materials requested by procedures;
- Operating laboratory equipment;
- Preparing chemical reagents;
- Preparing shipment and packing of specimens.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high level of attention to detail, be able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.), and hold a Collegial Diploma in Science, Biotechnology, or any other related field.
This is a permanent full-time position with a competitive salary of $48,000 per year, based on a 37.5-hour workweek. You can expect to earn around $20 per hour, plus an annual bonus based on performance plan.
