Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Server - Food and Beverage Services Specialist to join our team at Mavara Indian Bistro Inc. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask, and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present bills to customers and accept payment in cash, credit or debit cards, travellers cheques or room billings
  • Describe menu items including daily specials for customers
  • Advise on menu selections
  • Describe and advise on wine selection
  • Greet patrons, present menus, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • Serve food and beverages
  • Take orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs
  • Provide customer service

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience an asset
  • Bondable
  • Fast-paced environment
  • Client focus
  • Excellent oral communication
  • Organized
  • Team player

Working Conditions:

  • 40 hours per week
