About the Role

We're looking for a highly knowledgeable and experienced individual with a strong background in automotive mechanics. As a Maintenance Generalist Associate, you'll provide top-notch support to our clients and drivers, ensuring seamless vehicle maintenance and repair services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to incoming calls from drivers and suppliers to resolve technical and non-technical inquiries.
  • Provide service assistance and directions to drivers and clients.
  • Answer supplier calls and create electronic repair invoices.
  • Negotiate repair prices and review requests for compliance with client policy and Element's standard operating procedures.
  • Issue authorizations for valid repairs to manage client vehicle maintenance repair costs and minimize vehicle downtime.
  • Make outbound calls to initiate service and follow up on open issues.

Requirements

  • High School education or equivalent; a Bachelor's degree is a plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of general automotive knowledge; mechanic experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in PC skills, including data entry and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize and respond to internal and external requests within specified timeframes.
  • Ability to research and resolve problems independently.
  • Effective communication skills to interact with suppliers, clients, and internal personnel.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and multitask between different work queues.
