Unity XR Input Team - Hands, Body, and Gestures Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our XR Input team, focused on hands, body, and gestures. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for building features such as user-defined hand gestures, including both runtime and tools that enable creators to ship immersive experiences to all the XR platforms that Unity supports.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building new features from the ground up and authoring intuitive workflows, primarily for hands, body, and gestures
  • Working with internal teams and platform providers to let developers write once and ship anywhere
  • Closely collaborating with different disciplines (such as Product Managers, Quality Assurance) to ensure the best possible product
  • Reviewing code, improving the quality of our products and giving input to our future direction
Requirements:
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals
  • Advanced C/C++ with (optional) intermediate C# skills
