About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at Big Dreams Early Learning Centre. As an Early Childhood Educator Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and implementation of child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social growth of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation: Assist early childhood educators in creating and implementing programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Childcare Support: Provide assistance to early childhood educators in carrying out daily activities, such as leading songs, telling stories, and engaging children in educational games and crafts.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting: Assist in maintaining accurate records of children's progress, including observations, reports, and communication with parents and guardians.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with early childhood educators and supervisors to ensure seamless program delivery and effective communication.
  • Work Environment and Conditions: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols, and demonstrating flexibility in a fast-paced setting.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
