About the Cancer Triad
The Cancer Triad is a volunteer-driven initiative within the Arts & Science Undergraduate Society, dedicated to providing support and resources to individuals in the Cancer Ward at Kingston General Hospital.
Job Summary
We are seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to fill various leadership roles within the Cancer Triad. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those affected by cancer.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Cancer Triad Coordinator to plan and execute initiatives aimed at positively impacting individuals in the Cancer Ward.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote the Cancer Triad and its initiatives.
- Plan, organize, and execute events for the Cancer Triad, including coordinating logistics and managing timelines.
- Manage the financial operations of the Cancer Triad, including budgeting, tracking expenses, and preparing financial reports.
- Serve as a liaison and promote events to first-year undergraduate students through various platforms.
Requirements
- Eligible candidates must have paid the Arts & Science Undergraduate Membership Fee.
- Strong communication and organizational skills are essential for success in these roles.
- Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Time Commitment
An approximately 8-month term with a time commitment of 2-3 hours per week.
