The Saskatchewan Health Authority (Prince Albert) is seeking an exceptional Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team. This is a permanent full-time opportunity.

Job Summary

We are committed to providing high-quality patient care, and as a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the mental health needs of our young patients are met. In this position, you will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents.

About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of child and adolescent psychiatry, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for:

  • Assessing and diagnosing psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans, including medication management and psychotherapy
  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Participating in educational programs and research initiatives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Doctorate degree in Medicine or equivalent
  • Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities
  • Board certification in Psychiatry
  • Experience working with children and adolescents
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
