Southern Health-Santé Sud is seeking a skilled Family Physician to join our team in the Red River Valley Corridor. This is an exciting opportunity to provide primary care services to a diverse population and be part of a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care services to patients at various primary care sites, including the Morris General Hospital, Ginew Wellness Centre, Centre de santé Montcalm Health Centre, and the Emerson Clinic.
- Participate in an Emergency Department rotation as one of several on-call physicians at the Morris General Hospital.
- Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide mental health services, public health, physiotherapy, dietetic counselling, and palliative care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and community members to provide culturally sensitive care.
Requirements
- Proficiency in both official languages is essential for this position.
- Eligibility for registration and licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba.
- Current in Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) & Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Ability to respect and promote a culturally diverse population.
- Demonstrated ability to meet the physical and mental demands of the job.
