About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Demand Planner to join our Supply Chain team at Stryker. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining high-quality consensus demand plans for the organization.


Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and Maintain Demand Plans: Create and maintain high-quality demand forecasts and demand forecast analytics, assembling and analyzing all relevant data to create/maintain the demand forecast.
  2. Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Serve as the primary demand planning contact for Business Unit Leaders, Marketing, Sales, Finance, Operations, and Regulatory business partners, as well as the IBP Franchise Manager, Analyst, or Global Operations Master Scheduler(s).
  3. Lead Demand Planning Process: Lead the demand planning process and monthly Executive Demand Review meetings, coordinating and consolidating plans with other Demand Planners to ensure the process is effective and runs efficiently.
  4. Identify Actionable Insights: Identify actionable insights and recommendations to support strategic decision making for senior leaders.
  5. Lead Demand Planning Team: Lead defined elements of the divisional demand planning team, including process improvement, weekly/monthly reporting, documentation, and product life-cycle management.
  6. Partner with Business System Administrator and Forecast Modelers: Partner with the Business System Administrator and Forecast Modelers to create reporting of analytics to support business needs for better information in decision-making.
  7. Drive Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in the development, modification, and adjustment of procedures, policies, processes, and technologies within the demand planning organization.
  8. Financial Reconciliation: Perform financial reconciliation against the financial plan, lead efforts to address financial plan gaps as well as demand-supply gaps, and improve key metric performance such as forecast accuracy and forecast bias.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or Finance is required.
  2. 4 Years of Experience: 4 years of working experience in a demand planning, supply planning, financial planning, commercial analytics environment or similar field is required.
  3. Medical Device Industry Experience: Previous experience in the medical device or hospital industry is preferred.
  4. Computer Literacy: Highly computer literate, proficient in Excel and other MS Office applications is preferred.
  5. Demand Planning Software: Proficiency in demand planning/forecasting software, such as SAP or Oracle, is preferred.
  6. Internal Applicants: Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience, and performance over time at Stryker will be considered.
