About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Continuing Care Assistant to join our team at Orchard Court in Kentville, Nova Scotia. As a Continuing Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and mobilizing
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized Resident Care Plans
  • Assist with light housekeeping duties and perform delegated nursing acts according to company policy and scope of practice
  • Communicate and report relevant information regarding resident care or safety to Supervisor

Requirements

  • Valid Continuing Care Certification or Provincial Personal Care Worker course or equivalent
  • Registered in Nova Scotia's CCA registry as per the Continuing Care Assistants Registry Act
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Clear criminal record with vulnerable sector screening
