Job Title: Merchandiser

Bombay Wholesale & Trading Ltd. is seeking a skilled Merchandiser to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining contact with suppliers, negotiating prices, and ensuring adequate stock levels.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of merchandise.
  • Negotiate prices, discounts, and credit terms with suppliers to maximize value for the company.
  • Review inventory levels and determine quantity and type of merchandise to purchase, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.
  • Select and purchase merchandise for resale, considering factors such as quality, price, and availability.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data to inform purchasing decisions and optimize inventory management.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word.
