We are seeking a reliable and caring family childcare provider to join our household as a live-in caregiver for our children. This is a permanent position with a 30-40 hour workweek.
About the RoleThe ideal candidate will be responsible for performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties, preparing and serving nutritious meals, supervising and caring for multi-aged groups of children, and maintaining a safe and healthy environment in the home.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized living space, adhering to non-smoking and scent-free policies
- Prepare and serve healthy meals, considering dietary restrictions and preferences
- Develop and implement engaging activities for children, promoting their emotional well-being and cognitive development
- Establish and maintain a daily routine, ensuring timely arrivals and departures from school and appointments
- Assist with laundry, meal preparation, and other domestic tasks
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- At least 7 months of experience in childcare or a related field
- Criminal record check required
- Possess excellent communication skills, patience, and time management abilities
- Able to lift up to 20 lbs (9 kg)
- Ongoing training and professional development opportunities
- A competitive salary of $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience
