Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pedagogical Advisor to join our team at the Ontario Public Service. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice and support to our clients, utilizing your knowledge of education and experience to drive positive outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance on education and experience-related matters to clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to support clients in achieving their goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless delivery of services and support.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to ensure our services remain relevant and effective.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Work Setting: This role will be based in a government department and/or agency, with opportunities to work on-site and remotely. You will be required to travel occasionally and have your own transportation.

Security and Safety: You will be required to undergo a vulnerable sector check and maintain a high level of security clearance.

Transportation/Travel Information: You will be required to have your own transportation and be willing to travel occasionally.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: You will be required to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a high level of physical and mental stamina.

Personal Suitability: You will be required to demonstrate excellent client focus, interpersonal skills, and written and oral communication skills.

Workplace Information: This role is a permanent position with a 36.25 hour workweek, and you will be required to work on-site and remotely as needed.
