Claims Adjuster Trainee

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Claims Adjuster Trainee to join our team. As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will be responsible for handling, investigating, and managing claims, as well as reviewing coverages, limitations, warranties, and requirements. You will ensure that appropriate coverage is in place and follow guidelines and instructions. You will also prepare documents and mandatory forms as required and manage a case load of claim matters in compliance with KPIs and SLAs. Additionally, you will provide a high level of customer service to all stakeholders and perform other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling, investigation, and management of claims
- Reviewing coverages, limitations, warranties, and requirements
- Ensuring appropriate coverage is in place
- Following guidelines and instructions
- Preparing documents and mandatory forms as required
- Managing a case load of claim matters in compliance with KPIs and SLAs
- Providing a high level of customer service to all stakeholders
Requirements
- Builder or construction experience is a definite asset
- Ability to obtain an adjuster's license
- Previously demonstrated ability to execute high attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to manage changing priorities and proven organizational skills
- Demonstrated behaviors showing initiative and follow-up skills
- Demonstrated professionalism and work ethic
- Proven ability to contribute to and work well with a team environment
