GFL Environmental is seeking a skilled Service Writer/Advisor to support our team in Abbotsford, BC

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and monitoring work orders, tracking PM repairs, and scheduling repairs accordingly. They will also be responsible for entering hours, filing DVIRs, ordering and picking up parts as required.

A Day in the Life of a Service Writer/Advisor

  • Create and monitor work orders (ensure parts are charged out)
  • Fuel dips, DEF, W/Washer Fluid
  • File DVIRs
  • Check hours and mileage
  • Enter and send out oil samples
  • Attach PMs to work orders

Requirements

  • Previous experience with trucks is considered an asset
  • Diligently attends to details and pursues quality in accomplishing tasks
  • Builds and maintains customer satisfaction with the products and services offered by the organization
  • Must be able to multi-task and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent work ethic with a willingness to learn
