About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Educational Assistant to join our team at Grasslands Public Schools. As an Educational Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting student learning and success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students in instruction, social, and behavioral needs
  • Encourage positive interactions between students and staff
  • Work closely with school staff, including classroom teachers and administration
  • May include activities such as lifting, transferring, and providing personal care, as necessary
  • May participate in student school activities, such as swimming or outdoor sports
Requirements
  • High School diploma
  • Post-secondary training is an asset
  • Strong communication skills, written, verbal, and reading
  • Ability to assist with all subject areas
