Job Overview

Tetra Tech is seeking a Civil Engineering Technologist (NOC 22300) to join our team in Whitehorse, Yukon. This role requires direct involvement with geotechnical engineering projects in arctic environments from conceptual design to construction reporting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assisting with field geotechnical assessment and sampling.
  • Performing field nuclear density compaction testing.
  • Recording, reporting, and maintaining test result records.
  • Preparing or supervising the preparation of rock, mineral, or metal samples and performing physical and chemical laboratory tests.
Requirements

A Geology, Civil Engineering, or Construction Services Diploma from a recognized Technical School is required. Demonstrated practical hands-on design, construction administration, and project management expertise is an asset but not required.

Benefits

This position offers a salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off. Tetra Tech also provides hybrid work options when you're not in the field.
