Job Summary: Madiz Construction is seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to assist in various construction tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
* Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
* Clean and prepare surfaces for painting or finishing, adhering to company standards.
* Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings, considering design and safety requirements.
* Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using trowels and broad knives, maintaining attention to detail.
* Finish corners and angles, creating decorative designs in the finish coat as required, showcasing creativity and craftsmanship.
* Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, adhering to blueprints and specifications.
* Mix plaster ingredients to the desired consistency, ensuring quality and consistency.
* Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim, demonstrating expertise and attention to detail.
* Smooth out excess compound and allow coats to dry, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
* Tape over joints using taping machines and embed tape in compound, ensuring a secure and watertight seal.
* Attach metal or gypsum lath to studs or furring, adhering to safety protocols and company standards.
* Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages, demonstrating physical ability and adaptability.

Work Environment:
* Bending, crouching, and kneeling are required, as well as standing for extended periods and walking, ensuring physical fitness and stamina.

Weight Handling:
* Up to 23 kg (50 lbs) weight handling is required, demonstrating strength and ability to lift and maneuver materials.
