The Sales Coordinator will provide sales support, including month-end reporting, rate increase notifications, and tender submissions. Additionally, the Sales Coordinator will generate and analyze strategic reports related to fleet productivity, dock productivity, and delivery efficiency. Some key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze sales and quote reports, identify trends, areas of growth, and areas of concern, and present to the Sales Team.
  • Prepare rate requests, bring to proposal stage, and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Contact specific customers for after-sales service calls and development calls if required.
  • Conduct prospecting calls to potential future customers.
  • Track sales activities and prepare sales reports on a monthly basis.
  • Communicate customer needs and requests with operations and administration, and follow through to resolution if required.

Qualifications:

We require a post-secondary education in a related area, such as commerce, business administration, or logistics. The ideal candidate will have operational knowledge of sales and/or the LTL trucking industry. Strong administrative and computer skills, as well as experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word, are essential. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong organization skills, prioritize tasks, and work with minimal supervision. Enthusiasm and a positive personality are required when dealing with potential new customers and handling concerns with existing customers.
