Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Order merchandise and manage inventory levels
  • Establish work schedules and ensure adequate staffing
  • Sell merchandise and resolve customer complaints
  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including performance reviews
  • Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and refugees
  • Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers

Requirements:

  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 3 months to less than 1 year
  • Experience an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
