Job Title: Plumber - Pipefitter

We are seeking a skilled Plumber - Pipefitter to join our team at Whistler Personnel. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems in various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Install domestic, commercial, or industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
  • Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems
  • Instruct apprentices and provide guidance on plumbing tasks
  • Locate and mark positions for pipe connections, passage holes, and fixtures in walls and floors
  • Cut openings in walls and floors to accommodate pipes and pipe fittings
  • Join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, and welding equipment
  • Test pipes for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
  • Determine piping system requirements and pipe sizing
  • Estimate costs and materials
  • Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to the required shape and size
Requirements:
  • Plumber Trade Certification
  • Plumber Red Seal Certificate
  • Valid driver's license
  • Steel-toed safety boots
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
