About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Designer Crates Specialist to join our team at BRP. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for creating technical drawings and specifications for the manufacture of BRP vehicle bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Produce detailed technical drawings and specifications for the manufacture of BRP vehicle bodies, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, engineers, and suppliers, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all technical drawings and specifications meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Material Management: Manage material lists using SmarTeam and SAP, ensuring efficient and effective material planning and procurement.
  • Technical Communication: Communicate technical information to internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and customers, in a clear and concise manner.
Requirements
  • Education: Technical college diploma in mechanical engineering with a focus on design or equivalent.
  • Experience: Relevant experience in mechanical design, product development, and quality assurance.
  • Language Skills: Proficiency in English and French, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate in simple and routine situations with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in CATIA software and Microsoft Office.
