Job Title: Registered Practical Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse to join our Transitional Care Unit in Ottawa. As a key member of our team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients.
Responsibilities:
- Provide client care by utilizing observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counseling, and health teaching skills.
- Establish, monitor, and deliver nursing care to clients, as per the nursing care plan and in accordance with all required internal and external professional practice standards.
- Support and direct unlicensed/unregistered employees involved in direct client care.
Requirements:
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed/Registered Practical Nursing Program.
- Current registration with the provincial licensing body.
- Demonstrated clinical competencies, positive interpersonal skills, ability to communicate effectively, critical thinking and analytical skills, decision-making skills, and ability to prioritize.
