Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Sanitation
    • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand to maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen environment.
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas to ensure efficient inventory management.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to ensure a safe and clean environment for staff and customers.
  • Food Handling and Preparation
    • Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit to prepare for cooking and serving.
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees to promote diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
  • Support for Youths
    • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment to promote career development and growth.
