Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial Transaction Expertise: Provide expert advice on commercial transactions related to the Satellite Systems business unit, ensuring compliance with relevant contractual obligations.
- Agreement Negotiation and Administration: Negotiate, draft, review, and execute agreements with commercial and government counterparties, and administer customer and subcontractor contracts throughout their lifecycle.
- Proposal Support: Provide support to the proposal team, including review of request for proposal terms and conditions, responding to customer inquiries, and proposal submission.
- Policy and Process Development: Collaborate with the Director or Manager of Contracts and Subcontracts to develop, revise, and implement policies, processes, and tools related to commercial transactions.
Requirements:
- Experience: 4 to 8 years of experience as a contracts/transactional professional in the aerospace, defense, or high-technology industries, with experience in drafting, negotiating, and managing complex transactions.
- Education: Post-secondary degree in business, law, or engineering from a recognized university.
- Security Clearance: Eligible to qualify for Controlled Goods Program and NATO Secret security clearances.
- Language: Bilingualism (French/English) is preferred.
