Rock Ridge Dairy Ltd is seeking a skilled Dairy Production Specialist to join our team in a permanent role. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating machinery to process and package food products, performing corrective machine adjustments, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate machinery to process and package food products
  • Perform corrective machine adjustments
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • Record production information
  • Observe gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors to verify specified processing conditions
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas
  • Inform supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities
  • Make adjustments to process variables
  • Maintain shift log of production and other data
  • Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines
  • Check products for defects and to ensure conformance to company standards
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods
