Job Opportunity: Data Analyst

We are seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our client's team on a 6-month contract with a strong probability of extension. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting complex data sets to drive business value and value realization.

Responsibilities:
  • Gather and consolidate data from various sources, including databases, spreadsheets, and external systems.
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular validation and cleansing processes.
  • Maintain and update data documentation, including data dictionaries and metadata.
  • Perform statistical analysis and data mining to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Create and interpret data visualizations, reports, and dashboards to present findings.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing data insights and recommendations.
  • Provide actionable insights to improve business processes, performance, and strategies.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their data needs and requirements.
  • Communicate complex data concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and recommend enhancements to data workflows and tools.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related fields. A master's degree or PMP/PMI certification is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, with a proven track record in an analytical role.
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience working in a technology or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience with Excel, including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, and PowerPivots.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages, such as SQL, Python, or R.
