We are seeking a skilled cook to join our team at EightSix Network. As a Third Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to a high standard, working efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to a high standard, following recipes and presentation guidelines.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment, managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service and high-quality food.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Participate in ongoing training and development to improve skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• One year of experience in a cook position or equivalent culinary experience.
• Diploma or Certificate in Culinary Arts or equivalent education.
• Foodsafe Certificate.
• Experience with various knife-cutting techniques and knowledge in food safety preparation.
• Ability to lift items weighted similar to a crate of potatoes and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to work flexible hours and special events.
• Ability to successfully complete a security screening.
