Electrical Maintenance Specialist

As a key member of our Mine Maintenance Department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our mining equipment. Your expertise in electrical systems will be essential in maintaining the reliability and performance of our equipment, and in identifying and resolving electrical issues in a timely manner.
This position reports to the Mine Electrical Supervisor and is located in Lanigan, Saskatchewan, Canada. You will work closely with our team to ensure that all electrical work is completed to the highest standards of safety and quality.
What you will do:
- Work safely in a mining environment and follow established procedures and policies
- Inspect, diagnose, adjust, repair, and install electrical equipment and systems
- Play a critical role in maintaining the safety and integrity of our electrical systems
What you will bring:
- A valid Saskatchewan Provincial or Interprovincial Journeyperson Electrician Certificate
- Grade 12 or GED
- Stable work record
- Previous experience in an industrial environment is an asset
- Positive safety behavior and a commitment to being a safety leader
- Willingness to learn and gain adequate knowledge and experience through training
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work safely and effectively in a team environment as well as self-guided
- Ability to interact positively with co-workers and supervisors
- Ability to make and implement decisions under all conditions
