Job Title: 310T Heavy Duty Mechanic

Transparent Search Group is seeking a skilled 310T Heavy Duty Mechanic to join their team in Concord, ON.

Job Summary:

As a 310T Heavy Duty Mechanic, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy-duty trucks and equipment in a safety-focused environment. You will work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that all vehicles are in top condition and meet safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on heavy-duty trucks and equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues and make necessary repairs
  • Conduct inspections and identify potential problems
  • Repair and replace parts as needed
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and parts used
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies
  • Communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Continuously develop knowledge and skills through training and staying up-to-date with industry advancements

Qualifications:

  • Valid 310T Heavy Duty Mechanic license or 3rd Year Apprentice
  • Minimum 2 years of experience working as a heavy-duty mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
  • Experience with computerized diagnostic equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy equipment and parts
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed
