Key Responsibilities
  • Route Planning: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring professionalism and a positive experience for clients.
  • Loading and Unloading: Load and unload goods safely and efficiently, adhering to company procedures.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the condition of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, and other equipment.
  • Emergency Repairs: Perform emergency roadside repairs and ensure the vehicle is safe to operate.
  • Inspections: Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
  • Record Keeping: Accurately record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Cargo Security: Ensure the safety and security of cargo, including tarping and securing loads.
Requirements
