Job Description:
Fidelity Manufacturing Group seeks a detail-oriented Quality Control Technician to ensure the highest standards of quality in our production process. This role involves working closely with the quality control team to verify that all products meet specifications and requirements. Key responsibilities include:
  • Inspecting parts for dimensional and visual accuracy
  • Aligning drawings and specifications with inspection checks to guarantee precision
  • Affirming that all completed parts are properly identified, clean, deburred, protected, and stored in a professional manner
  • Supporting internal quality audits and tool calibration
  • Participating in quality meetings with the Quality Manager

Qualifications:

  • Minimum High School education or equivalent
  • Certification in manufacturing or quality control is considered an asset
  • This role requires participation in a criminal record check and controlled goods screening

Experience:

  • 2 to 5 years of work experience in quality control
  • Experience reading engineering and manufacturing drawings is required
  • Machining industry experience is considered beneficial
  • Familiarity with measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.
  • Knowledge of GD&T principles and concepts is considered an asset
  • Experience with CMM operation or programming is considered beneficial
