At Ricki's, we're looking for a dedicated and experienced retail professional to join our team as an Assistant Store Manager. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and ensuring the overall success of our store operations.

About the Role

This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary of approximately $55,000 per year, plus benefits and opportunities for career advancement. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of store operations, including managing day-to-day activities, achieving sales targets, and maintaining a high level of customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive sales growth through effective visual merchandising, inventory management, and customer engagement strategies
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales associates, providing coaching, training, and feedback to ensure exceptional customer experiences
  • Manage store operations, including opening and closing procedures, stockroom organization, and loss prevention measures
  • Partner with the Store Manager to achieve business objectives, set goals, and develop action plans to drive results
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • 3+ years of retail experience, preferably in a supervisory or management capacity
  • A strong understanding of visual merchandising principles, inventory management, and customer service techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, and stand for extended periods
