We are seeking a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at SP Trucklines Inc.

Job Summary:

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing cheques for payroll, and ensuring the general ledger and financial statements are balanced and accurate.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Payroll Administration: Prepare cheques for payroll and ensure timely payment to employees.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Tasks: Perform various accounting tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficient in accounting software, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong attention to detail.
