Housekeeping Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Manager to join our team at Esterhazy Motor Hotel. As a key member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement effective housekeeping procedures to ensure high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of housekeeping staff, including scheduling and assigning duties.
  • Conduct regular inspections of hotel rooms and public areas to ensure compliance with hotel standards.
  • Ensure that all housekeeping staff are properly trained and equipped to perform their duties.
  • Maintain accurate records of housekeeping activities, including inventory management and staff performance evaluations.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest experience.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and carry cleaning equipment and supplies.
