Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Database Administrator to join our team. The successful candidate will have expertise in Oracle RAC, Goldengate, Postgres, and Maria DB.

The ideal candidate will be passionate about database administration and have a strong focus on security, stability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform database installations, upgrades, and configuration changes
  • Monitor database performance and tune as necessary
  • Evaluate, install, and configure database software products and related software
  • Enhance support and maintenance activities by implementing new automated processes or improving existing ones
  • Collaborate with others to automate and improve processes and deliver great results
  • Interact with business partners, answer questions, and respond to technical requests
  • Respond to Service Requests within required service levels and clearly document actions taken
  • Support development and operational support teams in troubleshooting, problem solving, testing, and deploying application releases and changes
Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Experience with Oracle RAC, Goldengate, Postgres, and Maria DB
  • Strong focus on security, stability, and performance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a rotating on-call pager process
