We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Collingwood General and Marine Hospital.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop treatment plans to improve respiratory function.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and families on respiratory health and disease management.
• Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results to diagnose respiratory conditions.
• Perform Electrocardiogram (ECG) tests to monitor heart function.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• College Diploma from a Respiratory Program.
• Current registration with the College of Respiratory Therapists of Ontario (CRTO).
• Current certifications in NRP, ACLS, and BCLS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• PALS certification.
• CRE certification.
