We are a dynamic and fast-paced company in the renewable energy sector, seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the monthly accounting cycle, ensuring accurate financial close within tight deadlines. This includes preparing financial statements for various sites under the Wind and/or Solar Platform.

You will take ownership of assigned companies, acting as the main point of contact for those outside the department. Additionally, you will prepare and document analysis for complex accounting issues, present findings and conclusions, including implementation plans to the Accounting group and impacted stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Taking ownership of assigned companies and acting as the main point of contact;
  • Preparing and documenting analysis for complex accounting issues;
  • Preparing accounting and financial statements for Wind and/or Solar assets;
  • Preparing journal entries as part of the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process;
  • Coordinating with internal departments to prepare monthly and quarterly variance analysis;
  • Reviewing and maintaining monthly general ledger accounts and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of financial statements;
  • Preparing journal entries in Fixed Asset Module for Distributed Generation segment;
  • Preparing accounting entries for assets under construction and ensuring accurate transfer to Property, Plant, and Equipment after asset reaches its Commercial Operation Date;
  • Completing SOX compliance documentation for Projects under construction and Projects closed during the year as per internal process.
Requirements:

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. The ideal candidate should be able to think critically and embrace a dynamic, complex, fast-paced environment. Effective project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks are essential.

The successful candidate should have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field. Experience working in a similar role, preferably in the renewable energy sector, is highly desirable.

Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) plan with company match.
