About the Position

We are seeking an experienced nursing professional to join our leadership team as a Patient Care Manager - Surgical Services. In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care in the perioperative setting.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in perioperative nursing and possess excellent leadership and communication skills. You will work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless patient flow and efficient use of resources.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction

  • Monitor and evaluate departmental performance to identify areas for improvement
Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a perioperative setting
  • Hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and be a member in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Have postgraduate education in management and/or leadership, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence others
