Job Summary

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a skilled DZ Driver to join our team. As a DZ Driver, you will be responsible for delivering and recovering equipment, tools, and propane to and from customer worksites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver and recover equipment at customer sites
  • Secure equipment on the bed of a truck or utility trailer
  • Perform local or long-distance hauling of equipment and supplies
  • Conduct basic troubleshooting and make minor repairs to malfunctioning equipment
  • Learn and demonstrate customer service standards for delivery service
  • Perform daily commercial vehicle inspections and complete necessary repairs to ensure operational safety
  • Accurately obtain required signatures on rental contracts and pick-up/exchange forms
  • Demonstrate proper and safe equipment usage to customers at point of delivery
  • Perform other duties assigned by the manager or authorized personnel
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid Driver's license with DZ certification and safe driving record
  • Previous experience driving, loading, and unloading tools or equipment
  • Mechanical skills to troubleshoot issues on-site
  • Customer service-focused attitude
  • Detail orientation to properly maintain records
Physical Demands

The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job.
