Job Title: Electromechanical Technician

We are seeking a skilled Electromechanical Technician to join our team at Bell and Howell Canada Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the inspection, testing, and adjustment of electronic components, as well as calibrating electronic equipment and instruments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in inspecting, testing, and adjusting electronic components to ensure they meet specifications.
  • Calibrate electronic equipment and instruments to ensure accuracy and precision.
  • Assist in building and testing prototypes to specifications.
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems.
  • Test machines and equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Assist in the inspection of mechanical installations and construction projects.
  • Carry out a limited range of mechanical tests and analyses of machines, components, and materials.
Requirements:
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel internationally.
