Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Services Director to join our team at Alberta Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food services department, ensuring the highest level of quality and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate and improve daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Monitor and manage staff performance to meet departmental goals
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including menu planning and inventory management
  • Set and manage staff work schedules to ensure adequate coverage
  • Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution
  • Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to ensure accurate financial management
  • Conduct performance reviews to assess staff performance and provide feedback for improvement
  • Organize and maintain inventory to ensure adequate stock levels and minimize waste
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe working environment
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality
  • Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our food services and increase customer satisfaction
  • Lead and instruct individuals to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
Supervision

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of 11-15 staff members in various areas of responsibility.
