Job Summary

Grovehill Investments Inc. is seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our food service department. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of food and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef and ensure that food is prepared and served to the highest standards.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
    • Establish work schedules and ensure that staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service environment, or equivalent experience.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 30 to 40 hour work week. The work language is English.
