Job Title: Senior Mechanical Drafting Specialist

Mafna Air Technologies Inc is seeking a skilled Senior Mechanical Drafting Specialist to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of engineering tasks, including drafting routine working sketches and layouts.

Responsibilities:

  • Drafting routine working sketches and layouts using CAD software
  • Calculating basic engineering aspects of routine drafting problems
  • Determining material and equipment selection and creating estimates and specifications
  • Drafting routine reports and correspondence
  • Applying basic algebra and geometry concepts
  • Creating and revising CAD models and drawings using computer hardware and software
  • Developing 2D drawings from 3D models or parts in AutoCad through common drafting standards
  • Updating and revising 2D drawings on changes needed by Engineers and Designers
  • Managing drawing system integrity in the product data management system
  • Completing drawing project groups by documenting and organizing
  • Supporting Engineering Team
  • Creating manufacturing drawings from 3D SolidWorks models
  • Managing drawing files and drawings and quality standards
  • Checking drafts and ensuring accuracy and completeness with department designers

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in mechanical engineering or other related fields
  • Familiarity with manufacturing designs or schematics
  • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Knowledge of AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of Solid Works
  • Knowledge of other 3D Software
  • Knowledge of sheet metal will be an asset

Benefits:

Salary based on experience. We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
