Job Title: Optical Advisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Optical Advisor to join our team at Pearle Vision. As an Optical Advisor, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient service and ensuring all patients receive the highest quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional patient service and ensure all patients receive the highest quality of care.
  • Greet customers without delay and answer the telephone in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Determine the reason for the customer's visit and explain how to shop at Pearle Vision.
  • Review prescriptions and patient information carefully and identify special needs.
  • Show patience and courtesy to indecisive or difficult customers and patients.
  • Operate the POS system terminal and accurately input customer/patient and prescription information.
  • Accurately operate the POS system and collect proper payment following company security procedures.
  • Take pride in the appearance of the store and show initiative in keeping the displays clean and organized.
  • Inform management of potential safety opportunities and comply with all safety/regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate / GED or equivalent experience.
  • Strong communicator and listener to customers and associates.
  • Strong basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
  • Sales skills and knowledge of store merchandise.
  • Familiarity with cash register, computers, and calculators.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in customer service, retail, or optical.
