Hairstylist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Hairstylist to join our team at Royal Salon. As a Hairstylist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting, trimming, and styling hair, as well as providing advice on beauty care treatments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Advise clients on beauty care treatments and products
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
  • Shampoo customers' hair and provide scalp conditioning massages
  • Shave and trim beards and mustaches
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes or rinses to colour, frost or streak hair
  • Apply hair extensions and perform other hair treatments
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm and style hair
  • Perform receptionist duties and provide excellent customer service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the beauty industry
  • Hairstylist Trade Certification

  • Dependability and reliability
  • Judgement and ability to work independently
