About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Silverton General Store. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including ledgers, journals, and other accounting documents.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare and present financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting Standards Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, including GAAP and regulatory requirements.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in preparing and managing budgets, as well as forecasting financial performance.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
