The ANDRITZ Separation Service Center requires a skilled and experienced Welder Specialist to join our team in Saskatoon. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and a commitment to safety and quality. The role requires working on a variety of projects, including the re-manufacturing of large industrial centrifuges, and other solid/liquid separation and rotational devices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean work area and repair welding equipment and tools.
  • Perform welding tasks using techniques such as MIG, TIG, and SMAW.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • The candidate will be required to work a rotating shift, including a 6am-3:30pm dayshift and a 3:20pm-1:50am afternoon shift, as required by management.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • The candidate must have a Journeyman Welder status as defined by the Apprenticeship Branch of the Saskatchewan Department of Labour.
  • Demonstrated welding experience.
  • Experience in an industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with welding inspection and quality control processes is an asset.
