Job Description:
The Senior Manager of Engineering Operations will lead the Engineering and Maintenance Departments in accordance with company policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing strong leadership, strategy, and execution.
- Managing departmental resources.
- Oversight of the design, development, and implementation of production facilities, systems, equipment, and processes.
- Ensuring a safe work environment and meeting all environmental regulatory requirements.
- Developing, implementing, and maintaining policies and procedures for effective major project management.
- Leading a team of Engineers who execute new product launch engineering, installation, and startup, as well as continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- B.Sc. in Packaging Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 7+ years supervisory experience with minimum 5 years' experience in industrial/production setting, preferably pharmaceutical or food industry (Cannabis).
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Well-developed report writing skills; business correspondence, and procedures manual effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
- Excellent leadership, project management, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
